Pay attention to your LIFE.

 

Stop making excuses and start making plans. Let go of doubt and go for it. You’ve got this. Start believing in yourself. Stop beating yourself up. Be gentle with yourself and know it’s okay to be whoever you are and however you are today. Step lightly, yet confidently into your life. Rest easy with your choices and the outcomes.

Pay attention.

Stop attaching to things you can’t control. You can’t control any of it. Let yourself be angry, but don’t hold on to it. Let yourself be sad, but don’t get lost in it. Let yourself be happy, but don’t always count on it. Let yourself be and know that it’s okay.

Stop being so serious. Let yourself have fun and remember to do it often. Laugh and be silly.

Stop being stagnant and make those travel plans. Save up and get on that plane. Go somewhere new. Explore. Get lost. And when you get lost, let go and love every minute of it. Talk to locals. Immerse yourself in the adventure and be free.

Stop putting other things first. Take care of yourself.   Breathe. Rest. Meditate. Do yoga. Go for a run. Spend time in nature. Eat good food that you made for yourself. Read a book. Learn something new. Practice gratitude each and every day. Slow down and notice all the good that’s around you---even if you have to look hard for it, find it and take it in.

Stop forgetting that we’re all connected and remember that we are all in this together. Be nice to your friends. Be nice to your family. Be nice to strangers. Hold doors. Say thank you. Wait patiently in line.  Smile and say hello. Recognize that what we do and how we treat each other matters and make choices that make others feel appreciated and loved. Know that you are capable of making a difference; do it and be proud. Don’t gossip. Don’t blame. Lift people up with your thoughts, words, and actions. Notice those around you who are doing good things and support them. Know that you can make a difference in so many ways. Don’t hesitate. It’s worth it.
