Inspiration vs Motivation

by, Stephon J. Davis

A lot of people get caught up with the struggle of will power and motivation. They will go to a motivational seminar and get excited about success. They will be on fire for a short period of time and then fizzle out. The problem is motivation is temporary. Motivation gives you the what but not the why. Motivation is a good start but unless it can manifest into a burning desire, passion and enthusiasm it will not have the wings to soar.

How do you get inspired? That is a great question. There are many ways to receive inspiration. One of the best ways that I am aware of is meditation, moving forward and listening. When you quiet the mind great ideas from a higher source come to you. When you move forward with your goals always listening and acting on those inspired ideas you receive more and more ideas. That is one of the biggest keys. If you receive inspiration but do not act on it, you will not continue to receive more inspiration. It's kinda like pearls to the swine. If the person will not use the wisdom why keep giving it out. On the other hand if the person acts on every bit of inspiration no matter how small or big they will find their entire live being full of inspiration and every good thing will line up in their path.

If you are tired of pulling life with lots of strain and effort and would rather be pushed a lot with ease then contemplate on what really makes you come alive, what really brings you joy. Pursue it with all your heart trusting that everything will work out for you. Ask for guidance from your higher self, and act on the inspiration that you receive. So many people know what they want in life, they know what makes them happy but they are afraid to follow that dream. Worried about failure, worried about success, worried about bills, worried about family, friends, spouse. stop worrying and start living the life you were meant to live. Don't leave the planet with regrets, should haves, and untapped talent. We only live once so we need to make the very best out of these years that we can.

Nothing wrong with using motivation to get started just realize that if you want to continue on without fail, you have to rise above motivation and tune into the inspiration.
